Covid-19

Our COVID-19 Protocols and Precautions
The health and safety of both our staff and patients are our highest priority. We are excited to see our patients again, and we are ready to help you achieve the healthiest smile possible! That being said, you may notice some changes in our office next time you arrive for an appointment. As we adjust our daily protocols in the midst of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, you may notice the following changes:

COVID-19 Screenings
In order to ensure the safety of all who enter our office, all patients will be emailed a list of precautionary screening questions to answer on behalf of their household.

Mandatory Temperature Checks
Upon arrival, all staff members and patients will also have their temperature taken. Any individuals with a temperature above 100.3°F will be asked to leave the office and reschedule their appointment.

Face Masks/Covering
All staff members will be wearing appropriate face masks in addition to other PPE to ensure the safety of their patients and colleagues. Patients and their parents are asked to do the same for our team — please enter our office with face masks that fully cover both the mouth and nose.

Hand Sanitizer
Hand sanitizer will be available on-site for those both entering and leaving the premises.

Waiting Room Protocols
We will now offer limited seating in our waiting area to better ensure safe social distancing practices. Additionally, we are not offering toys, magazines, or other shared items. Finally, we ask that parents wait for their children in the comfort and safety of their cars.

Treatment Area Protocols
Previously, our office has enjoyed and encouraged the participation of family/guardians in our treatment areas to better promote comfort and oral health advice. However, to ensure adequate social distancing, we are currently only allowing patients into treatment areas. Young children in need of support may have no more than one individual accompanying them back at a time.

Facility Upgrades
Prior to COVID-19, we installed a UV light sterilization system to our AC units. This technology is well-regarded for its ability to eliminate pathogens that are both airborne and resting on surfaces. Our mission is to provide clean air for our patients and staff.

Digital Opportunities
To mitigate the amount of time spent in-office or in close proximity, our office is offering all patients and parents the ability to complete their forms online. Additionally, you may sign up to receive text and/or email appointment reminders from our staff.

We have always had the highest standards of care, sanitization, and disinfection protocols. If you have further questions regarding on-site changes or our COVID-19 procedures, please do not hesitate to contact us and learn more.
